Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What topics do you speak on and how do they apply to my industry or audience?

I focus on helping professionals communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently so they can lead, influence, and drive results. Here’s the key: These skills apply everywhere. I customize each session with examples that reflect your audience’s real-world challenges, so it feels practical, relevant, and immediately useful—not just “that was interesting,” but “I can use this right away.”

What makes your keynotes different from other communication and leadership speakers?

I don’t just talk about communication and leadership—I give people simple frameworks they can actually use. Your audience will walk away knowing how to structure conversations, influence decisions, and lead more effectively. My sessions are interactive, engaging, and designed to keep attention high. Less theory. More tools. And just enough humor to keep things interesting.

Do you customize your presentation for our specific audience and event theme?

I tailor each presentation to your industry, audience, and goals. My teaching methods are engaging and adaptable to the specific needs of your audience, ensuring that everyone leaves with practical strategies they can use right away to become better communicators and stronger leaders.

What should I know about working with you?

I’m easy to work with, responsive to your needs, and fully committed to making your event a success. I know what it takes to pull off a great event, and I aim to be the speaker you rave about behind the scenes and on stage.

What’s included in your fee?

In addition to a dynamic keynote or workshop that will leave your audience energized and equipped with real skills, my fee includes prep calls, customization, an optional worksheet, and the peace of mind that the job will get done right. I also try to throw in a few bonus laughs for free. You’re welcome.

What unique value do you offer?

Keynote: Your audience will experience a high-energy, interactive keynote that blends compelling stories, practical insights, and memorable takeaways. It is designed to engage a diverse audience and create momentum that carries throughout the event. Participants will leave feeling energized, confident, and ready to lead with greater impact.

Workshop: The workshop emphasizes collaboration, using group exercises and real-world scenarios to learn effective communication and leadership strategies in a supportive and dynamic environment. My approach fosters open dialogue, encourages shared insights, and builds a sense of teamwork, which enables participants to learn not only from the content but also from each other. They will leave with clear strategies they can put into practice right away, along with renewed confidence in how they communicate, lead, and influence others in their everyday work.

Who have you worked with before and what results did they see?

I’ve worked with professional associations, corporate teams, universities, and nonprofit leaders across a range of industries. The results are consistent: clearer communication, more confident leaders, and better alignment across teams. The feedback I hear most often? “This was practical—I can actually use this.” That’s always the goal—real impact that shows up long after the event ends.

What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?

You’ll get promo-ready headshots, a bio, session descriptions, and a short video you can use for social media or event pages. I’ll also help spread the word on LinkedIn and Facebook and give your event a boost to my email list if that’s helpful. I’m here to help you fill seats and build excitement.

Do you offer extras, like meet-and-greets?

Absolutely. Q&As, meet-and-greets, selfies with attendees—I love it all, and I am happy to connect before or after the talk. Just tell me where to be and if there will be snacks and cocktails. And just so you know, although I enjoy eating, I consider myself more of a drinkie than a foodie.

How do you engage with audiences post-event?

I love to keep the momentum going! I send a follow-up email with the slide deck and offer to continue the conversation through email or on LinkedIn. I really want your attendees to not just hear something—I want them to do something with it. That’s how we learn.

My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?

Let’s talk. I try to be flexible when it makes sense. If the audience is a great fit and the impact potential is high, I am open to creative solutions and would love to work with you to figure something out.

What is your policy on event recordings and media rights?

Typically, I allow events to record my session for internal use, and I am happy to discuss broader usage. Just let me know in advance so we can get it in writing so everyone is on the same page.

What are your specific travel requirements?

I like to keep it simple: a non-stop flight, if possible, ground transportation, a hotel with reliable Wi-Fi, and maybe a white Monster drink before the event (although, to be honest, I’m kind of addicted to these little buggers, so I’ll probably already have one with me). I will handle my own bookings unless you prefer to manage them.
